Baudoin Wash Systems b.v. is sponsoring two projects:

  • Sand Storage Dam in Kenia
  • Car racing team Vitron

Sand Storage Dam in Kenia

One of our employees, Jeffrey Boers, is going to Kenia for a period of three months this year, for his final (graduation) practice. There he is going to build a Sand Storage Dam together with the local inhabitants and fellow students from Kenia.
The goal of his final practice is to provide the local inhabitants with clean drinking water and to transmit professional knowledge. The Sand Storage Dam will be built in one of Kenias driest and poorest areas. By building this dam rainwater will remain in the soil in front of the dam during the rain season. This way the ground water hardly evaporates. And there is the added advantage that the water in the soil will be purified. During the extremely dry periods one can also pump up the water by placing wells. Thereupon the water can be used as drinking water as well as water for the irrigation of the crops. The progress of this project will be updated on our website.

Car racing team Vitron

Martin van Iersel, manager and owner of Vitron Servicegroup in Tilburg, has his own car racing team for several years now. Last year he started with a brand new Subaru Impresa World Rally Car. Our very pure Osmosis water cools down this special car’s turbo engines. In the past the turbo engines had to be replaced on a regular basis, as a result of the calcinations of the turbo engine. From the co-operation of Baudoin Wash Systems and Vitron Service group onwards, the turbo engines are cooled down better with this special water and they do not run down anymore. Naturally the car will be washed with our special Osmosis water after the race.
